Kate Booth secures dedicated overnight traffic patrols.

Over the past few weeks, your Quinton Labour team have been listening to your concerns and address the alarming increase of vehicle thefts across Quinton and the wider Birmingham: Edgbaston constituency.

Thanks to the support of our local policing team, we have now secured dedicated overnight traffic patrols to be carried out across Quinton, Harborne, Edgbaston, and Bartley Green in an effort to deter criminal gangs from stealing vehicles and to prevent some of the antisocial driving that has been such a huge problem in our community.

Your local MP, Preet Kaur Gill and I have both been in regular contact with West Midlands Police who have assured us that whilst vehicle theft in Quinton remains 26.7% lower than at this time last year, they take every case of vehicle theft seriously and urge anyone who has been affected to contact the police as soon as they become aware of a theft and for local residents to share any relevant CCTV images with police, so that they can investigate these crimes properly.

Cllr Kate Booth

The Labour Party continues to be the only party that stands up and delivers for Quinton residents.
