Have your say on tree-cutting at the back of Chichester Drive and Clay Drive

Cllr Kate Booth and Preet Kaur Gill MP want to hear from local residents about how they have been affected by recent tree-cutting at the back of Clay Lane and Chichester Drive, which have left residents exposed to noise pollution from the M5 motorway.

Local residents raised their initial concerns about the lack of consultation with Preet at the start of December but despite her calling on Highways England and National Grid to temporarily postpone the works until residents were consulted properly, the works went ahead.

In her latest effort to support residents affected, Preet has written to Highways England and National Grid demanding an urgent investigation into why the community was not consulted and for resident's to be financially compensated after it was reported by one resident that their property value dipped by nearly £30,000.

Cllr Kate Booth and Preet Kaur Gill MP have now setup a survey petition for affected residents so that residents can tell us how they have been affected. To make your voice heard, please sign the petition below.
