Quinton and Harborne Labour Party call for toy donations for Birmingham Christmas Appeal

Quinton and Harborne Labour Party are asking residents to donate toys to the BirminghamLive #Brumwish Christmas Appeal at local drop-off points in Quinton and Harborne, next week. We believe that every child should have the joy of opening a present on Christmas morning, yet shockingly 110,000 children across Birmingham will wake up in poverty this Christmas, with many of those children going without a present.

This year, Quinton and Harborne Labour Party are working with Preet Kaur Gill MP, and supporting BirminghamLive and partners to make sure that no children in our city are without a new toy, game, or goody on Christmas morning. We are asking you to donate a new or nearly new toy for a child aged between 0 and 16 years old.

You can drop it off at any of the following locations:

  • Royal British Legion Quinton at 211 Worlds End Lane, B32 2RX on Friday 3rd December between 2:00pm and 6:00pm

  • Harborne Street Stall on the High Street on Saturday 4th December between 11:00am and 1:00pm

  • Edgbaston Cricket Stadium on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th December between 11:00am and 3:00pm

For any further information on what you can donate or if you would like to get involved with the appeal, please get in touch at hello@edgbastonlabour.co.uk
